"I'm the motherf*cking fox, no one can catch the fox."
-Takumi, Looking for Alaska
I haven't touched my paints and paint brushes in a good stretch of time, and I don't know if it was because I was a bit burnt out by PCN or just in that sort of uninspired dry spell, but it felt really nice to sort of make my way into it again.
All I knew for sure was that I wanted to paint a fox because I just thought of Takumi from Looking for Alaska and just kind of felt like it. I didn't really know how to go about it though, as in, what sort of style of fox I wanted to do, so I googled and stumbled upon "Space Fox" by Danielle Madrigal. The graphic, I thought, was magical in it's entirety and really inspired me to kind of make one of my own. It's on a tiny 4x6 canvas that nicely hangs on my wall, and I was able to achieve it by using both acrylic and watercolor.
