the #JollyVoxBox

Disclaimer: I received these products for free from Influenster to test and review! *internally squeals*

So this post is just a wee bit late, and that was because by the time my Berkeley address received the box, I was well on my way to SoCal to start my month long hibernation that is winter break. By then there was pretty much no way to have it sent down to my parent's house, thus delaying this review. Regardless though, I very much enjoyed receiving and opening the box, so here goes (even if it's late)!

These are the items that I received in the box:

Ducklings Mini Rolls | Puffs Plus Lotion
First up, I received the cutest roll of duct tape on the planet--Duckling's Duck Tape. I've already known of the brand beforehand and am aware of all the rad patterns their tapes come in, but I definitely did not know they came in little junior sizes. They're definitely both handy and creative--seriously what more could you want from duct tape--and I'm pretty much going to use most of my roll up on a page on my Wreck This Journal that I was gifted lately. Second up, I received a purse-friendly pack of Puffs facial tissues but, p l o t t w i s t, because this one is "Plus Lotion," which only means it feels like I'm blowing my nose--or I guess wiping my face--with what feels like the Sherpa blankets of all that is facial tissues.

Skinny Cow Divine Filled Chocolates
I was also surprised with a full box of Skinny Cow Divine Filled Chocolates Peanut Butter Creme, which comes in these little packets, so they're quite a convenient snack for my sweet tooth. I usually don't like peanut butter--except for Reese's--but the peanut butter creme to me was pretty darn lovely.

NYC HD Trio Eye Shadow in Long Beach Sands
I also received two make up products: an NYC eyeshadow palette and a Rimmel Lip Lacquer. For the NYC eyeshadow palette I got the Long Beach Sands palette, which is a lovely neutral trio for on-the-daily smokey eyes. I personally wore it today and it's lasted all throughout, which is all good and dandy however I thought the crease color would be a bit more pigmented than it is--but that's probably just me because I like my crease colors to be more dramatic than not.

Rimmel London Show Off Lip Lacquer  in Luna
For the Rimmel Lip Lacquer, I received a shade that probably isn't the most compatible with my skin tone. However let me tell you that this lacquer really does live up to it's name--show off. It's a very intense lip color that really does just pop because of a satin finish. It has a lip gloss feel to me, which I'm not quite comfortable with, but find that it's quite fun to play with. I'll probably be sporting this color later on in the spring, just because it's so bright and lovely. Here's my face with it by the way:

And that wraps up this post! Huge thanks to Influenster for thie #JollyVoxBox opportunity!
