I felt like wearing a blazer today, and I think it's because last night I randomly watched Jenn Im's Wasteland haul, and then it dawned on me that I have not worn a blazer in the longest time! I don't know why, especially because it keeps such a refined structure, no matter what I pair it with. Today was quite the casual day, so I wore a "dia de los muertos"-esque graphic tee, which has to be one of my go-to's, along with a classic velvet skater skirt (seriously loving the flair and moxie that comes with these pieces).

I met up with one of my good friends today, Kriselle, who is a lovely writer and blogger over at her blog at Through the Eyes of a Cali Girl. We had a great time catching up over Starbucks and experiences. But really, we met up because she had previously asked me to design her blog to the best of my abilities, since she knows I meddle with graphic design (due to our history of working together as yearbook editors and journalists in high school). I was more than honored to take on the job and voila! We met up and did it. Her ideas very much embodied the spirit of not only her blog but her energetic self! I could only wish for my designs to have reflected her accurately. She's amazing! So check her out!

After our session I headed over to my boyfriends house for a surprise visit which eventually turned to a lazy day full of Wingstop, How I Met Your Mother, and Game of Thrones.
